The food is cooked perfectly, attention to detail is on point and the ingredients are fresh, well seasoned and very well presented. Nothing is overlooked, even salad garnish is tasty, well thought out and the dressing adds a good contrast to the rest of the plate Everything from starters to desert was so good, notably the lamb rump, seafood vongole, camembert.... it was all just perfect. “ An impromptu visit after deciding we fancied a drink, in a pub, in the sunshine... We found it by doing a Google Map search for pubs on the way home, and it was delightful. They were able to seat us after we decided we wanted to eat too. It was all very last minute and we had a lovely meal. We took advantage of their set, fixed price menu. The pork belly was divine, and my friend enjoyed the burger. We both had cheesecake to finish. Yum! The staff were very smiley, and there was a good vibe. Very accessible with large open spaces, wooden decking, and ramps. Dogs are welcome outside, and there is a huge field area at the back that has a good view over Poole and Bournemouth. It's great for the kids who were running about and having fun in the sun. It's definitely a place return to. ”

“ Great gastropub atmosphere with great views of the grounds. We went for a 25th anniversary meal so did not hold back . We started with the soup of the day, leak and potato which was ok and pate, very tasty but never enough bread . For main courses we had fish which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and a mid fillet steak, which was incredible, cooked to perfection (medium rare) the second best steak I have ever tasted! If you like steak you need to try this when you visit! For dessert we had rhubarb and pan a Cotta, this was a little disappointing with the rhubarb undercooked enough to cause a couple of hours of stomach cramps (and the only reason I dropped a point for food ), I had a generous helping of delicious cheesecake. The service was exemplary, and there is no service charge added so you are free to choose the level of tip - very refreshing. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be dropping in to The Pear at Parley. ”

“ My husband took me to the Pear for lunch for my birthday, the service was brilliant and all the food was lovely! My husband had the fish and chips, the fish was a very large fillet and he thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a lovely outside area for when the weather is nice and also pods you can hire out. Highly recommend, and we look forward to coming back again ”
